I went here to have a stye in my eye removed (called a chalazion) because I couldn't wear contacts or it wouldn't go away. Dr. Call took it out and that was fine. In passing he said that they would send it to pathology. Well, it's my first chalazion, so I didnt know what protocol is for this issue. It cost me $350 to have it removed, which I figured on, but then $600 dollar lab fee. I looked into it and there was no reason to send it to pathology. I had to take my mother very quickly to see her doctor who works at Excel, but he was unavailable at that time, but another doctor could see her, his name is Dr. MASON SCHMUTZ, he was very cordial with my mom and the best thing was that he speaks Spanish and she was able to talk and explained her problem. Raquel also was amazing! She was really sweet in helping us with the process to get us the papers we need and get it ready in very short time. Thank you Excel for your prompt response!
I just had my annual eye exam with Dr. Mason Schmutz and he was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G................He is the Glaucoma and Cataract specialist but, I can finally see correctly in my contacts. It has been 10 years on and off with contacts but I can see again. I highly recommend him and his technicians are fantastic and they all speak Spanish. Overall my visit was fantastic, the girls up front Bri, Raquel and Victoria great too.
I just had an appointment last week with this company for some floaters in my right eye. The two ladies at the front desk, Raquel and Victoria were a “kick in the pants” and so fun to talk too. They were very kind and answered all my questions and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Lambert was very nice and went over all my concerns and issues with me. I give Excel Eye Center 5 stars and recommend them highly! They also have an awesome office too! Great job guys 🤙
