The receptionist Raquel amazes me every time with her manifest desire to make things easy for me and personal knowledge of me! I’ve never seen that in my 45 years of going to eye doctors. Dr Schmutz is so confident and expérience and with his experience and knowledge he has been willing to try things with me that have brought about what I had assumed was impossible with my vision and how my eyes feel. I went here to have a stye in my eye removed (called a chalazion) because I couldn't wear contacts or it wouldn't go away. Dr. Call took it out and that was fine. In passing he said that they would send it to pathology. Well, it's my first chalazion, so I didnt know what protocol is for this issue. It cost me $350 to have it removed, which I figured on, but then $600 dollar lab fee. I looked into it and there was no reason to send it to pathology.
