In March, I had my car towed to Excel Auto Tech and spoke with Scott, the owner, to get a repair estimate. The next morning, he called back with a quote: $1,000 just to open the defective part, $600 for the "band" that holds the axle, and another $1,000 to replace the part—bringing the total to $2,938 after tax. I had a very good experince recently with Excel Auto Tech. From late last year, my Mazda CX-9 started to show issues (vibration. lack of power, etc.) with the engine. I brought my car to the Mazda dealer several times, spent $3,000 to replace some parts. However, the issue hadn't been fixed. My car was completely broken down this Friday morning. I called Scott and managed to get the car towed there after lunch. Scott replaced the belt before 5pm, even with the belt delivered from somewhere else. I was so panicked about the coming weekend, having all the things planned, without a car. Scott made my day today! It was very good experience with Scott. I really appreciated it.
