Hector was very informative and made sure I got what I needed
My gardener bought a 25 lb bag of summer Bermuda grass for over $200 here. He told me the birds don't eat it. The seeds (?) are much smaller than regular grass seed. I see birds here all the time. It's been like 2 weeks and barely a sprout. I called in and asked what's the longest he's ever seen it take to sprout. He said he didn't know. I took back a similar size bag of Bermuda seed from Lowe's for $80 that had a fertilizer coating but made no claims about not attracting birds.
They are super helpful and have great selection of suppliers! Much better than going to Home Depot!
Very inconvenient place for a last-minute shopping. You have to buy the amount of parts they want, not what you need, not matter if you have been doing business with them for over 28 years. Ewing store at 83rd Ave north of Union Hills.
I would like to report how very helpful the staff have been at the Peoria store. I am retired, live in a condo in Sun City. In order to keep our landscaping costs as low as possible, a group of residents repair minor irrigation problems. We have received excellent guidance and suggestions from the staff. Last Friday I witnessed the staff efficiently attending to our needs yet remaining calm and respectful as the store became busy with professionals clients who also needed their attention.
