I presented to the ER with systems indicative of compensated shock and I was triaged to the waiting room. My systolic blood pressure was greater than 200 for over three hours and my bloodwork was indicating kidney issues and yet treatment was delayed because I couldn't give a urine sample... which is one indicative of kidneys shutting down. Drive the 45 minutes to UofM Ann Arbor if you can. Definitely worth it
When I got to the ER I felt like I was in a third world country. 35 people in cots in hallway, poop smeared on the wall. It was the worst experience I’ve had in an ER. I am not from Michigan and I guess I am used to comfortable ER experiences. If you want that Sparrow is not the place to go. I Would not recommend anyone I know to this place.
So if your injured or whatever the hospitals of lansing will and I repeat will not help you even if you have good insurance, trust me I smacked my head on the concrete because my father tripped me after getting me drunk they just said bruised bone and didn't stitch my cut up where I smacked my head then I after I told them my father did it they just sent me back with him and I never got results on my injury.
