I went through egg freezing to try preserving my fertility. I was 30 years old, healthy, and based on my research and consultation with Dr. Cantor, I expected to retrieve at least 20-25 eggs. To start with the positives, the front-line team including receptionists, nurses, and ultrasound techs were phenomenal. They were friendly, professional, and usually on time. I know many people who have gone to different clinics for egg freezing, and this clinic by far has the worst service and resources available, including that lab testing is inefficient and time consuming for a patient. Unless you have all day to wait around and get your labs-- which are necessary extremely frequently in the egg freezing process, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Had my consultation call with Liz. She was very patient, kind and attentive to my questions. She seemed knowledgable and gave lots of good professional advice. I haven't gone through with the procedure with them, but first impression was very positive.

My experience at Evolve was disappointing. While I understand these discussions can be complex, I felt the doctor’s communication lacked sensitivity, even giggling while giving results, and left me feeling more anxious than reassured. Thankfully, my family doctor was able to provide the clarity and support I needed, which highlighted the importance of compassionate care during such a personal process. I hope the clinic considers improving their approach to patient communication in the future.
