When I bought my system they sold me a sediment filter then a charcoal filter. The third filter was not to be replaced because it was a softener filter. But a Culligan man tested my hardness and it showed 400 which is way harder than it should be. When I opened the filter because it was leaking some it was only a sediment filter. I never got the softener filter and today tech support said it cost 800 dollars. I paid 1600 for the system. Have good water but ruining everything. Cannot put dishes in dishwasher because leaves a white mineral deposit. Have to hand wash and also dry completely or deposit is still there. Has ruined all of my dishes. Has ruined my sink and will see what it does to my showers. Feel like I wasted my money. It was supposed to be better than the water softner I had.
