Relaxing and therapeutic – I've been to Eviama several times, both for massages and facials. It's an unpretentious, relaxing place. I especially recommend the myofascial massage.I used to schedule spa visits when we stayed at hotels, but I don't anymore. No one does it better than Eviama! Best message ever – I have visited Eviama for message 3 times. I work on my feet & have a very stressfull job I carry it all in my shoulders. So I first has the message done by the feet it was great. Life-changing – Made an appointment based on other reviews, and was a little skeptical after a bad experience elsewhere. The moment Penny looked at me, she knew why I was there and what I needed. I had a Reiki treatment along with a massage and eyebrow waxing. I've been to a lot of spas and salons in this city, but I've never walked out visibly looking like a new person. My confidence has been soaring, my face is blemish-free and in the best shape of my life, and I can't wait for my next appointment.
Best of Everything! – I love Eviama. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the people are so friendly and warm. The treatments are fabulous. I have been a client since they opened and have had every treatment they offer. I have never been disappointed. You have to go there if you want to be truly pampered.
Cure for those dark Philly days – Okay, "color therapy" sounds loopy and a litte weird, but it works! I have suffered for decades from seasonal affective disorder (SAD) that renders me a cranky arthritic shadow of myself by Thanksgiving. I usually "deal with it" through March. excellent deep tissue massage – I found the other reviews of Enviama pretty spot on - it's a great find in philly - but I think it's important to know in advance that the waiting area is really a little store that is used as a pass through area. Maybe because I was there around the holidays and they were busier than usual, but this is not the type of relaxing spa spot that I would usually prefer. A Perfect Experience – Today I had a facial for the second time at Eviama, this time with Penny. I really can't say enough good things. The products they use are just great... they feel good, smell delicious, not unbearably expensive if you decide to buy some for home use (which I did). I've had two facials there from two different practitioners and both were consistently of high quality. Penny sat and talked with me first, made me feel very comfortable, relaxed. *The* place to get waxed. – This snob-free but professional (read: capable) environment left me feeling relaxed just by stepping inside. Knowing that their hearts & minds are in the right place (fair-trade, environmentally friendly) is a breath of fresh air. Amazing facial – I had a facial with Carla early this week, it had been about 6 months since my last one and I was really needing some help. My skin had been breaking out and looking really dull despite my home regimen. The facial featured Dr Hauschka products, a line I had never really used before.
