Have used one of these in the past. Overall great! Except only two out of four work. Although I have been always lucky to get at least one of the working ones.
Among all the places out there to go to charge my car, I truly recommend this place. Love how easy it is to charge my car here with no complications. I wish all the other places were easy and great as this place is.
With our ICE car we never stopped at a Sheetz. This Sheetz has a EVgo Charging Station so we stopped here to charge. There are four 50kW CCS/CHAdeMO plugs. For a truck stop this is very low speed. 150kW should be the lowest speed for highway charging stations as most are now 350-400kW. Our charge had an issue after a couple of minutes so we started the charge again. This isn’t a big problem but we had to pay two session fees. If you do two or more sessions within an hour you shouldn’t be penalized for their system not workin... read more

3 out of 4 chargers are down as of Christmas Day and the one that is working won’t allow dual charging. Totally infuriating especially for older EVa that can’t use the Tesla Supercharger network to fast charge. The only good thing about the experience was that it wasn’t busy but tough luck for anyone else looking to charge. 🤷🏻♂️
