Espresso, as suggested by the biz name, is the way to go for those looking for a caffeine fix. Other coffee delights include the standards like Macchiatos and Cappuccinos. A slim selection of baked goods are available in this minimally decorated space. It's rather Spartan all-around, but the friendly staff can make up for it.

Some of the best baristas in Manhattan pull shots at Everyman. I go there for a Cortado almost every morning. They use excellent coffee beans from specialty roasters ground fresh for every espresso drink.
Unwelcoming attitude, even didn’t greeting to customers.
One of the best espressos I've ever had, expertly pulled. (And in a ceramic cup for-here, of course)
The sign outside says it all, "DAMN FINE COFFEE!" And it's not lying! Great spot for a strong drip with a sweet treat and some remote work - WiFi is excellent. Chilled and welcoming vibes from the baristas. P.S. Katie Holmes sat at the table next to me today. I'm not sure if she is a local or just randomly walked in, but that was a nice surprise. She must like the coffee here too!
