For my fellow milk coffee snobs: it's rare to find a place in NYC which knows how to respect both the espresso shot and alternative milk. Came here on a cold (-17C) sat morn and ordered an oat capp to warm my pretentious soul. Smooth, well-heated milk and even did a bit of latte art despite being in takeaway cup. The coffee had distinctive notes (deeply nutty and a touch of lavender).
Great, calm place to work or meet friends, I saw some comments about bad service but I couldn’t disagree more! Barista was super friendly and quick. Had an awesome cappuccino with not too much milk which I prefer. Overall great vibe, coffee, and spacious seating - thanks!
Service was terrible, coffee spilled all over the cup and handed to me like that, and if that's not enough the coffee just tastes bad.
The barista was so not nice. I got a cup that coffee spilled all over it and he didn't understand why I want a clean cup on top. He was in a rush and behaved as if I'm interrupting him by asking for a clean cup. Will never go again.
