Very poor hygiene in the midst of COVID restrictions. The manager brings her yappy dog to the salon. It runs around loose and barks and barks, making a high-pitched shrill sound that's incredibly annoying. This is not a relaxing atmosphere, and it's not a clean atmosphere. I mentioned to the manager that it's absolutely against New York state licensing terms to have a dog in a salon. She laughed at me and said she was well aware that she's breaking the hygiene rules. DANGER DANGER! NOT SANITARY. I went into this nail salon for the first time today, May 2019. I was told to sit at an operator's table where she already had the manicurist utensils on her table, which concerned me because I did not see her remove them from a sanitizing station. During the course of my manicure while trimming the cuticle, this operator cut me on my middle finger and drew blood. This is the only time in my life that I have ever had a manicurist hurt me.
