I started a very small business, as somebody who had never done anything business related before. When it came time to sell my business, many promises were made, but not much follow through. I had to hustle up most of my own buyers. In the end, I paid 25% of what my business sold for to ultimately do most of my own work. The president and I disagree on this fact, but here we are.
Worst business broker ever. The president asked me to put a bid on a company they had listed for sale. My bid was low. So fine no big deal. However the president Joe Vanore literally took offense to my bid and said "it sucked." No problem big guy. Don't expect all bids to be super high and aggressive. No need to get into a heated email exchange if you consider yourself a professional.
