Horrible billing practices! Took my teen daughter with a broken foot bone to this place after our walk in clinic referred them. For a 10 minute office visit, which they used the walk in clinic x-rays, they charge not only a huge office visit fee but also an operation fee! Over $2130 for both charges. Called their billing department and asked them to review the charges as all the doctor did was look at an x-ray they didn't even take and there was no operation done. They called over a week later and said that the operation fee... read more
BEWARE! Their shady billing practices will cost you hundreds if not thousands of dollars. I was referred to the podiatrist by my PCP also at Evergreen Health under the assumption that it would be a specialist visit. Upon checking in for my appointment the receptionist charged me my normal $25 copay for a specialist visit. A few weeks later I received a bill for $600. I’ve spent multiple hours on the phone with both their billing department and my insurance trying to resolve this issue to no avail. Their office visits are bil... read more
I got an estimate for a in office visit and it was $800 (with insurance). I canceled and will not go to Evergreen again. Foot and ankle experts in the area are under $300 with x-rays, so this is just a racket. No thanks.
Let's just say I will be switching care because of this incident. I was referred to a podiatrist because my callus keeps coming back, this is all within Evergreen. So, evergreen primary to evergreen podiatry. I just knew I was in s9 much pain that I couldn't walk. The doctor (podiatrist) even asked me what insurance do you have, and I mentioned Aetna.. and then he goes on to remove the callus. Im pre-diabetic, I just know i shouldn't be doing anything with my feet myself but no one told me anything about insurance not coveri... read more
They charge inpatient fees because they’re part of a hospital so expect your bill to be super inflated (and let’s hope the insurance will cover it). The doctor recommended a steroid ingestion for my problem while saying “I am not sure what causes it, let’s try and see if it helps”. I was billed roughly $2000 for this simple ingestion, thank god the insurance covered it. And no, it didn’t help, and I will be looking for a different practice.
