Really unprofessional experience with one of the agents at Evergreen Realty. We've been showing our apartment to many agents for the past month and a half, doing our best to be accommodating. However, when we couldn't meet this agent's availability, he threatened to withhold our security deposit, which is completely illegal. We're filing a formal complaint with the NYS authorities. Just a heads up, you might want to reconsider choosing their services.
I had a really bad experience with Evergreen. I put a deposit down on an apartment only to find out the landlord wanted me to pay $900 more than what was listed. I got my hopes up and they were very quickly dashed. I wasted money on my application as well. I do not recommend this company.
Just wanted to give praises to Levi Cohen. He was extremely diligent and worked his hardest to find an apartment that met all my needs. Very communicative and helpful throughout the whole application and approval process. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for apartments in the Flatbush area.
