Rented a room online for here and they said they booked it to someone else and made us pay a second time

Rooms are spacious and always clean. Check-in is friendly and a breeze. Place is showing its age in certain areas, a bit of that Up North charm. I use this place as a stopover when on cycling tours up north. The sauna and hot tub are a nice place to unwind. Breakfast buffet needs a major overhaul. The hot foods were not hot at all, potentially unsafe to eat at those holding temperatures. A very small spread they put out compared to years past. They have moved to a typical self-serve model, no more waitresses in the AM.

Stayed in room 121 and played a couple rounds of golf. I was a little gun shy after reading some of the reviews here but decided to take a chance. Glad we did. Property is a little dated overall but not bad. Room had been remodeled and was clean and comfortable. Common areas were nice. Small bar restaurant with cold beer and decent food. Course was in pretty good shape. Some areas that could use some work on the course but overall nice and nothing that took away from our golf experience.
