Why bother having an online check in system if it's not actually checking in?
I have been with Evergreen Family Health for almost about 18 years. Dr. Michael Johnson is wonderful. He is always researching the latest treatments, has excellent bedside manner, and allows me to discuss research that I have found concerning my health issues. Prior to moving back to Vermont, I worked in Risk Management at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, which is supposed to be the 5th best medical facility in the country. Been going for years and have been happy, but this past week has been amazing. Dr Adams, Sam, Casey— super impressive. So glad they are my team.
I am diabetic. I have been trying to get my provider, Michelle Leduc, to get my prescribed medication authorized with my insurance for more than 2 weeks. I am OUT of medication. I call every day, and every day I am told that they are waiting on the insurance to authorize it. But nobody is actually following up with me on their own, nobody is providing me any updates until/unless I call them, and nobody seems to feel that it is actually a priority to get this resolved. If I could it'd be negative stars. Neglecting my concerns and prolonging serious issue for YEARS, despite my in office discussion about them. Harrasment and threatened. Ultimately kicked out because I didnt pay on time. Had heart surgery and apparently they don't seem to, in my opinion, care the situation that puts a person at the mercy of circumstances.
