I came here to visit family that was recovering after being in the hospital in Bakersfield. The only thing that I have to say about this place is, WOW! From the moment I walked into the building I was greeting with a “Welcome in!” You can feel that the staff is very caring to their patients with lots of activity going on and everyone who passes by checks in to make sure I’ve been helped. I was between a rock (and an even harder) place after I had my cancer surgery. I was in downtown Los Angeles, and was ready to be discharged. My surgeon would not do it due to the fact I was. And still am, homeless. So, after a lot of waiting and wondering, my social worker got the go to send me to Arvin Post Acute, since I am from Tehachapi, CA. GOD could not have sent me a better place!
