Everett Transit has some of the best bus drivers with great personalities. However removing seats at bus stops should go against the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Removing benches and protection from the elements has resulted in many of us disabled and elderly becoming trapped. No longer able to get to medical care or necessary services. Punishing us just because some idiot thinks stuff users sit at the stops. Drug users have homes and big trucks, everyone knows that.
Maybe teache your bus drivers not to plow through a crosswalk at a red stoplight when there are people attempting to cross the street!! At approximately 1100 this morning (7/17/24) one of your bases (b0309?) Drove up Everett Ave to the intersection at Colby Ave. The light for them was red! Your driver proceeded to drive forward into the crosswalk blocking the entire thing making it inaccessible to pedestrians. There is NO way I wasn't seen by your driver as I was literally standing on the corner in bright green!
