Best bbq in the bay hands down Took my wife and dad here yesterday for lunch We loved it
Terrible service. Every time I've been there I've felt like I'm being punished for the Confederacy. The sauce is good but the quality of the meat is lacking.
Great place to have some good BBQ dinner and socialize with friends. If I knew they had a live band that plays on first and third Friday's, I would have stopped by sooner. Loved the atmosphere, music from the band and the DJ. They both were very, very good! I will definitely visit more often.
The place is friendly & the Band was boss�I'll be back again. The BBQ was delicious!
Went into restaurant around 1:30-2:30 pm, Julian was a excellent host, food was very at home style. Ribs fell off the bones, very meaty, mild sauce was ���, brisket was melt in your mouth, yams were better than hot sweet potatoe pie, collards were very tender. Great experience.
We drove in from Sacramento gor my brothers 60th birthday!Got exactly what we came for great food /great entertainment. The wait is always long but we anticipated that since they are the only real BBQ in the bay (left standing) for years. I ordered the 3 way as usual, it looked exactly like advertised. The food is the real deal w/generous portions. Can I mention the Backroom where world class musicians jammed impromptu. �BBQ, �birthday�blues....
It was the best service and the food was to die for. I live out of town, bit I will definitely make my rounds again without a doubt!!!
