Where do I begin with this nightmare of an experience? The agent/owner, Nirit Alterson, operates under Evercrest Homes, and I strongly urge anyone considering renting from them to do your research and stay away. If this review saves even one person from the headache I endured, it’s worth it. Throughout my lease: • I was repeatedly billed for repairs that weren’t mine, including city-enforced code violations and routine maintenance. Being an agent trying to work with this group was horrendous, they would never return emails until 5 or 6 follow up requests had been sent and NEVER would get on a call with me to expedite the process for my clients. After 3 weeks of back and forth the agent indicated that they had chosen another candidate. Horrible communication, if they are the property managers as other reviews suggest Good luck living in one of their properties. They all seem to be owner/agent homes as well.
If I could give 0 then I would. Put in an application 4 weeks ago for a rental. Provided everything they required. They asked for 3.5 times the rent in income, and we proved them with 5 times the rent in income. Could never get a hold of anyone for updates. Would never respond to my real estate agent. After they verbally told me everything looks good they just needed my current landlord verification today I get an emails after I called and emailed them saying they regret to inform me that they have leased the home. Ive been a tenant for 2 years now, when my heater stopped working correctly they replaced it. When my ac stopped cooling they came out multiple times till they could find the Freon leak and ended up replacing my coil (the part that cools the air that’s passed through it) and now that we just experience a historic even for Texas with the freeze and ERCOT screwing is out of power my pipes had multiple leaks from freeze damage. The whole city was out of supplies and these guys worked almost non stop to get supplies as far as fr... read more
