Month-of wedding coordination ($2k for a 50-person wedding): fantastic advance planning support, wedding day-of support was good but left some to be desired. Overall, what my spouse and I wanted from a good wedding coordinator was to have someone to handle setup, and when things went wrong, to handle them without involving us. They kept everything running seamlessly on the day and made sure we could actually enjoy every moment without worrying about logistics. Professional, warm, and genuinely lovely people. We hired Janette Najar from Events by the Bay in April for Partial Planning for our July wedding, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. Early on, there were signs of disorganization. In one of her first emails, she even addressed my husband by the wrong name, and I had to correct her.
