Tornado caused wedding cancellation, call was made to Julie day before wedding to cancelled flower set up and invoice was paid in full. She sent nasty e mail complained that I ( the mom of bride called 2x) 6 loose long stems dead /brown Charged for 10 boutonnières 22 long stems owed . She tried explain that due to cancelation she was doing us a favor by delivering. We paid for them, it was closer to deliver to the house then venue. Can’t believe that people take advantage:/ Terrible company !

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Day-Of Coordination We hired Events by Paradise for our wedding and paid $1,800 specifically for day-of planning and coordination services. Julie, the lead planner, made several promises during our meetings to set up a photo booth, finalize timelines, and manage vendors on the day of our event. Unfortunately, none of these were fulfilled, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Our wedding was on June 22nd, 2024 at Cheeca lodge and spa. We spent almost a total of $10,000 with Julie and we didn’t see even half of that at our wedding. It still breaks my heart to reminisce on my own wedding. We paid for a deconstructed arch that ended up being 2 pillars with barely any flowers. We paid for over 15 flower arrangements that were never seen at all in any of our event spaces. Events by Paradise is a big disappointment. After insisting on 50% payment for flowers and coordination for a wedding 8 months away we settled on paying Julie the owner $2,500.00. She attended our catering tasting (with her teenage son in tow) and thats the last we have heard or seen of her . The wedding is in five months and Julie has gone incommunicado. She has done zero work on our Web site. Has not contacted any bakers - as promised. The other day she sent a Zelle request directly to our bank with no notice. Basically, s... read more
