Ridiculously awesome food and drink - great service & atmosphere - we will be back ❤ - The Uthoff's (from MA)
Food was good ($$$$) but accommodations were sub-par. Seating based on hostess knowing you otherwise at least an hour to hour and one-half wait. Young crowd with few tables and stools along a shelf. Recommend standing at the oyster bar, ordering drink and food and eat standing with others. Local oysters ($16 for six), clam chowder was the thin soupy kind with finely chopped ingredients ($9), Bloody Mary's ($8) and four inch lobster roll ($20). Won't go back due to the 'biased' seating process.
Such a wonderful assortment of oysters, from select spots in Maine and "from away", all with their unique personalities. Never seen it done better.
The service and the food were outstanding. We told our server the kind of oysters we prefer and she brought an assortment that was perfect. The brown butter lobster roll was a delicate melt-in-your-mouth consistency with a delicious flavor profile. We split that, but I wished I had ordered one for myself.. Oh well, next time. A comfortable, relaxed venue with a busy, fast moving dining experience. We'll be back!
Great location, great food and the staff as outstanding! Well worth the wait!
The food and service was excellent. The lobster roll and fried potatoes were amazing!!!
I had lobster curry soup and lobster ceviche....yummmmm. They were both fabulous. Service was awesome, as always. They have a good wine selection, tend to focus more towards beer and cider. Second time I have been back and will definitely visit again.
Spur of the moment to take my son and his girlfriend visiting from out of town(who I was meeting for the first time). They are both big foodies and we had a great time with fantastic food. Our favorite oyster, Pine Points, shined for us. We were impressed and will return again very soon.
It was ok for us. We got squished at a skinny little window bench where we froze every time the door opened. There was no place to hang out jackets so wearing them worked out (not that I want to wear my jacket when eating) we spent 150 bucks and left hungry. The oysters were amazing and the service was great. Not many options for non seafood eaters who want to enjoy the experience with their seafood eater date.
