I usually love this hospital and the staff but today was an experience from hell. A nurse forgot to call my emergency contact after I was told I needed surgery. Radiology made a mistake and said I needed surgery when I didn’t. A pct and nurse were laughing and making fun of me saying they wouldn’t take out my IV and that they should give me a coloring book since I was acting like a child. Excelente service an nurses do a excelente Job
I’ve lived in Evanston my entire life and have frequently used Evanston Hospital services and today I was applauded by the experience my mother and I had. She is 81 yo and was rushed to the ER by the paramedics. She has been sitting in the waiting room for 5.5 hours with chronic pain. There has been no movement in this waiting room with 20+ people (half elderly) just sitting.
