Made an appointment for a blood draw. Showed up about 10 min. prior, and still had to wait 50 min for my turn. What's the point of an appointment if the hospital doesn't keep it?! This hospital is the worst. Time to go to Northwestern instead. I'm sure the CEO of this hospital loves it when his staff show up 40 min late to his meetings.
I came in to the E.R this past Sunday midnight. I was intoxicated with alcohol it was a choice I made but still I needed help I had a panick attack I was there since 12am until 5 am . No doctor saw me they did not care in no way of my panick attack I had . They didn't assist me in any kind of way I didn't expect this from this hospital since I always had postive experience. What a horrible experience, 5 hours and still waiting, there were 1 person before us and still we are here waiting, Nobody checking on us, this ER should get new employees or better of close it down. Worse experience ever!!! I ll make a complain to the city as well
I'm 38 born at evanston hospital and been going very often for severe menstrual cramps since I was 12. The service the atmosphere and all the above has changed since management changed. I would even drive here when I stayed in napervillle,aurora etc cuz it WAS he best hospital with the best doctors and nurses. Not any more. There has been many times I've come it would 20+people in waiting room and plenty empty rooms in the back, elderly people too, for hours. I'm in the er now. Sitting in the ER waiting room as I write this….listening to the check in persons at the desk talk about how they just can’t handle “people”. My husband who is Diabetic with high blood pressure has been waiting for results from EKG done upon his arrival almost 5 hours ago. He was sent here by his primary physician today because something was concerning during his routine visit. He is late for his meds and having pain, but this “hospital” doesn’t care.
