I was seen in the ER today for and abscess tooth. My face was swollen along with pain in my jaw and ear. The infection is bad. I understand that an emergency room may not be able to fix or pull a tooth but at least I thought that the doctor would be able to give me an antibiotic to help with the infection until I can get to a dentist next week.
