Michael was amazing helping me with both of my boys appointments! He was very detailed and helpful overall. I was recommended To see Evan Silverstein by my children’s ophthalmologist in Woodbridge. I have heard nothing but amazing things about Dr. Silverstein and I look forward to working with him. they also accept Medicaid depending on what plan you have, it’s very difficult to find Medicaid providers, especially specialist. My daughter loves Dr. Silverstein and so do we. Our daughter was diagnosed with craniosynostosis which required skull surgery at 3 months old and corrective eye surgery at 3yrs. He has been following her progress with the VCU cranio group since she’s been 2 and let’s just say he has a “keen eye” for what he does. He makes appts fun and not scary at all for her. His kindness keeps a worried mommy at ease too. She is five now and we will continue to see him for as long as it’s possible.
Dr Evan Silverstein is a highly professional and competent Ophthalmolic Eye Muscle Surgeon. I recently had successful corrective dual eye surgery for diplopia (double vision) via his VCU office and Stony Point Surgery Center, Richmond, VA. All pre and post-op plans and medications were meticulously coordinated. I am extremely pleased with this medical experience and highly recommend the Ophthalmic services offered by Dr. Evan Silverstein.
I chose this MD based on him being the only pediatric eye physician who is available in my area to perform corrective surgery. The surgery was for Ptosis. (Droopy eye lid for my 5 year old.) He raised the eye too high and it now does not close. Leaving her with asymmetry of the eyes that is very noticeable.
