My father is a recent patient- was referred by his primary care doctor for blood in urine. Dr. Goldfisher lacked bedside manor and a sense of urgency as he took a look in his bladder and saw tumors. He did the first biopsy, was slow to turn around the pathology results and did a horrible job of explaining the diagnosis and timing of next steps/plan going forward. He is a man of VERY few words. To be fair, Goldfischer isn't a bladder cancer expert- but he never once suggested seeing a different doctor or getting a 2nd opinion... read more
Went to see Dr. Goldfischer for testicle pain and ask a few questions about something else and never thought he’d add it to my prognosis. When I got the paper work about my visit I was horrified. I thought I was reading someone else’s dr visit. He had written things I never mentioned and problems didn’t have. I have a lot more to say but I’m gonna say them to the New State Medical Board. I did speak with the head of Urology but I’m still not satisfied with the outcome.
Had a prostate biopsy with Dr. Goldfischer last September. I think he did a good job. As far as knowledge and skill go, he's very good. He could use a little work on "bedside manner" and explaining things to his patients. Suggestion for Dr. Goldfischer: Take that extra couple of minutes to go over the details with a patient. I found that I was confused at times about lab results and the meaning of the test results. I trusted him, but could have used some more detail in explaining why the procedure was necessary.
I've been going to Dr Goldfischer for many years have always found him to be thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. I have a high level of confidence in his care. -David
I recently had the Urolift procedure for an enlarged prostate. I would highly recommend Dr. Goldfisher and his staff at Premier medical group. They all were professional ,courteous , on time with appointments and knowledgeable. I will go for a follow up visit in a few weeks and am confident that all is well, especially because I no longer have to get up 2-3 times a night to urinate. Prior to the Urolift procedure, Dr. Goldfischer ran tests to determine what my problem was, and what would be the best course of action to take ... read more
The Caption needs an anchor tied to his buttocks. He always want to run out of the room after he says what he wants. Gives you no time to ask questions. He will tell you you MRI results without placing it up for your eyes to see. This staff sent me home with a blood clot and ended up back in the hospital due to neglect!
I have been seeing Dr. Goldfischer for about 15 years now and he has always been very knowledgable and professional and also very thorough. I have recommended him to many of my friends. John G.
I am writing on behalf of my husband who has been under Dr. Goldfischer's care for the last 1 1/2 years. He is a very knowledgeable urologist and especially skilled at performing procedures. He takes the time to explain anything you need to know regarding diagnosis and procedures when a problem arises. It is important to engage him and to establish a good working relationship in order to get the absolute most out of each visit. My husband is quite confident that he is in the right hands.
