Our experience with EVAM was awesome. It’s really difficult to know who to trust in the HVAC industry. We were scammed by a very large company that kept pushing us to rent vs replace our furnace and AC. Ed was not pushy at all. He answered all our questions and gave us options. He stressed that quality of installation is the most important factor vs brand. He pointed out what was done right and wrong with our old furnace. I verified this through research. Ed and his team did a great job installing an Aprilaire humidifier for me. Ed is knowledgeable and clearly cares about his work. I did ask for additional wiring to the ecobee but it ended up being simple enough to do myself. In retrospect, I should have probably opted for a steam humidifier instead but I ended up hitting getting adequate results.
I got a brand new Carrier AC unit from EVAM few days ago. I had an old ac unit need to be repaired 6 month ago, they fixed the problem but it was dead again. Ed came by and suggested to get a new unit. I called some other companies to get a quote, EVAM had good price for Carrier and Ed gave me some extra discount for earlier repair cost. We are very happy with our new furnace and so glad that we chose Evam to install it. Ed was fantastic to deal with and his team quickly installed our furnace on a very cold day. Highly recommend!
