Rather than risk a bad review, Joe preferred to send us on our way with a refund and no repairs other than the tests they ran. While not a bad outcome, I feel he could have gone a little further in working on our van. He was quick to dismiss our idea of what the problem was...but wouldn't you know it? The part we had guessed at was indeed the issue. It's a good shop overall, but I think Joe values his good Yelp/Google standing a little more than he should.
Joe and his staff are incredibly knowledgeable VW professionals. They know Vanagons inside and out, down to ANY given part! You are waisting your time with any other "so called" Vanagan mechanics.
