What happened to this place since Maria left. It has slowly gone down hill since her departure, the prices have gone up every-time I stop in , it’s now more expensive to buy a doughnut than a loaf of bread?…..ordered 4 doughnuts and a cherry Danish, the Danish was stale and the apple fritter was greasy, it was just after 2 pm , there was about 10 people waiting to be served, 2 servers, then one had an order for a sandwich, which then left 1 person to serve the rest of us, 2 people walked out, after most people were served , ... read more
Wonderful local bakery! We live nearby and get our bread and buns here. We also love to get the Portuguese egg tarts as treats for each other, they’re always tasty and so affordable. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and offer great service. Sometimes they get very busy but when it’s your turn at the counter, you receive their full attention.
Bought a raspberry custard cake, pretty mediocre, cake itself tasted like boxed mix, was dry, not worth the $40 that's for sure. Would not recommend. Other tasty things to purchase there however.
Excellent pastries, love everything there. Recommend the Espresso Croissant, Mocha Cake and Eccle.
Amazing, simple donuts at a really good price!
