WARNING The owner lied to my face about the condition of a Range Rover he had been servicing for a regular customer whom I purchased the vehicle from based upon this shops' word. My mistake in trusting these folks. Reply to owner comment - Was informed of 1 small oil leak easily addressed at next service. Was not informed of additional leak that cannot be fixed without major work. Additionally, I was told the noise under the hood was normal and specifically not the timing chain. Untrue.
I have a 2017 LR Discovery 5 that I have serviced at Euro West Rovers. The owner Marc is a rare find: an honest mechanic. The one repair was not cheap ($2300) but they had to take the supercharger off to replace the coolant pipe that is prone to splitting and also the water pump. Before the repair I asked Marc about the possibility of upgrading the pipe to an aluminum version that will never split: he stops me from talking, goes in the back and comes out with the pipe!
