Great food, service, and atmosphere – While I miss the fish and chips that briefly debuted along with fried ocra (still at sister restuarant Chenery Park, if I need a fix, sans okra), the menu always has a number of things I love. The wild mushrrom ravioli is always great - a really big ravioli. The chai tea smoked pork has a deep smokey taste. Mac & cheese is nice and rich without getting carried away. Nice Valentines Dinner – They were right on their website. Parking took longer but I am glad I went. Though the place is cozy, I did not feel crowded or encroached upon by others. It had nice ambience. The wait staff was attentive but not intrusive. My lobster bisque had some nice pieces of meat in it and was hearty and tasty. Eureka Restaurant - awful food, bad service, filthy kitchen – Eureka restaurant isn't a place that requires much more than to say it has poorly trained staff who know virtually nothing about the food or wine they serve, a kitchen that reminds me of a third-world roadside, and an atmosphere as interesting as a funeral parlor. Too expensive for what it has to offer – We've been to Eureka Rest. several times. Food is not that good, which makes the place too expensive for what it has to offer. Servers are usually nice and knowledgeable of the menu details. Host is kind and friendly but, last time we were there he asked us to leave as soon as we finished with our meals, because he needed the table -he said-. After the amount of money we paid to eat at that place, that was not pleasant at all. As for us, we're not coming back ever.
