My mom was in St. Joes for 11 days and has dementia. Each day, I was contacted by the Hospitalist…until Dr. Kang was on duty. She never called me on day 9 (Kang’s first day treating mom), at all, but then listed her to be discharged when mom had not been out of bed to walk the entire time!
