I've been treated for idiopathic hypersomnia for 6 years and had a number of different doctors treat me. Dr Torres Rivera was the first doctor to realize my MSLT test was invalid, since when it was performed, they told me to take my normal meds. She said many of them were sedating, and since the MSLT test measures how fast I sleep in 5 naps, that would affect the results. I'm now on a different drug and I'm doing great, finally. I can't thank Dr Torres Rivera enough or recommend her enough.
