My son has been a patient of Doctor Kohara since he was 2yrs old (he is now 7.) We love how kind she is with him and her willingness to explain him what she is doing, why, what it will feel like etc.
We received three reminders of my child's appointment, when we arrived I was requested for our copay and was informed we would be charged 75 dollars if she needed to do refraction testing. An hour after our appointment I received a call from the office stating they were not in network with our insurance and they would be sending us a bill for our visit. I then spoke with our insurance to find out refraction testing and our visit was actually in network. I received a weekly reminder to pay this bill, but took several prompts ... read more
