First let me say I don't write reviews, but I felt I should about Dr. Shkolyar. I'm very selective about doctors. It's a must that I feel very comfortable with my doctor and its very important that my doctor is very knowledgable. If I feel any less, I will continue to search for a doctor with those qualities. When I came to Dr. Shkolyar for my first visit I was very scared and nervous. He came in, introduced himself. I instantly felt his warmth. Dr. Shkolyar is compassionate and very responsive with follow up questions. I went to him for a second opinion after meeting with a local urologist - even though the results still meant the same scary procedure, I felt much more comfortable with Dr. Shkolyar for my surgery. I am so thankful for him and his team.
