I had a truly stressful experience this past weekend when my car suddenly stopped accelerating on my drive home from LA and then wouldn't start at all. I'm from San Diego. I didn't come to get work done from Mr. Long until I came back from living out of state for 3 years. I wish I had known about him sooner. The Toyota dealership I used to go to changed owners and when I got back, they recommended all sorts of things I didn't need, and neglected to inform me of my leaking radiator, which Mr. Long noticed right away. Best mechanic in town!! Very honest and reasonable prices. He is very efficient, fast and honest. He tells it like it is, won't tell you you need something when you don't. Been going to his shop for the last 10 yrs or so.
My front brakes and rotors went out yesterday and I needed them replaced. Called in and was able to get them fixed right away. I was able to get my car back in a few hours. Smooth transaction and affordable.
