Pete is really great! I told him about the nightmare stories with landlord screwing me over right before I signed the lease and he put in writing the apartment I would be moving into and the price I would pay (so long as I applied by a certain date). He also assured me that maintenance issues would be handled right away and he wasn't joking. PLEASE DO NOT LIVE HERE....I will save you the time and peace of mind to not live here...manager basically makes the place look like a homeless shelter at this point anyone can come apply and walk out with the keys same day so if you can't apply no where else because of bad credit or past mistakes look no other place this is the place for you manager will give you the keys on the spot . Yes indeed, I do declare that I did reside at The Grove Apartments & subleased the bedroom of a one bedroom apartment from my now ex-roommate there from May 1, 2023 until April 30th, 2024. Of course I subleased from him at the apartment he leased at Riverview Villas Apartments on West Ajo Way just before we moved to The Grove after Section 8 found too many violations on that apartment owner & we had to move almost overnight not of our own choosing. I have a friend living there now in the Autumn of 2023, and I must say that I commend the management and the owners for the fine job that they are doing with this property. After a career in property management it's something I pay attention to right away. Every time I visit, the property is always clean, neat, and very quiet, as the gates are doing a wonderful job keeping out the transient population. Inside, the apartments look really good so maintenance is doing a great job too! Way to go!
