There is no better place in the Bay Area for highlights and color than Starr’s Etoile Salon. She has an incredible eye and impeccable technique for sophisticated color. This is someone people fly back from out of state to go see. Highly, highly recommend.

Starr has been my colorist for over 20 years. She is amazing and I don't trust my hair with anyone else! I have followed her from salon to salon until she opened Etoile. It's a beautiful, intimate salon in a great location. Starr is always on time and is wonderfully flexibile with scheduling when I need her to be. Can't recommend her enough! Love her and get many compliments on my color all the time.

Starr is hands down the BEST colorist you will ever encounter. I came to her after a really bad color experience and she knew exactly how to “tix” it. She is honestly magical and SO TALENTED! She is also incredibly efficient (no sitting in the hair chair for hours) and has the most contagious positive energy. She is honestly the best of the best!!
