Tried to withhold my essential medication until I traveled over 45 minutes to sign for insurance. Refused to schedule appointments with the psychiatrist until I went all the way to Leighton to sign for which they would not be able to schedule the same day. Gave me an unlicensed therapist who didn’t take notes and never followed up on previous visits. Front staff are dismissive at best and straight up disrespectful at worst. Ethos in Lehighton is awesome! The office staff are very friendly, thoughtful, helpful and compassionate. Ron & Ryan are very empathetic, thoughtful, and create a very safe, non-judgmental environment that makes it easy to open up. They have helped me get through some difficult times - more than once. I've never once had any issues with billing, appointments or refills. I'd give them 10 stars if I could =)
This is exactly what happened to me at this clinic after about a year of going here, I paid, and the same day during the appointment was kicked out and accused of threatening the Dr's life. Of course who's going to believe you over the dr right? I belive she's scared that my facial paralysis has something to do with how bad my anxiety and stress is, especially after losing my little brother recently. Stress and anxiety triggered something that caused my facial paralysis most likely, and the rashes/ hives and she freaked out.... read more
