I love this store for the black soap and Shea butter. My son has had a bad rash on his face for years. I have used many creams and medications but in the end the black soap and Shea butter has been the cure. I'm so thankful I found this store.

First post goes to this exuberant hidden treasure Afrikan Son I couple of weeks ago, I hit a speed bump being stuck on finding vibrant pillows to meet the vision of my clients Jamaris Glenn and Khalilah McDuffie to execute their Juneteenth Melanated day party decor theme. Lucked up on him finding this amazing black owned business in downtown Tampa. Evelyn is such a kind, compassionate person. I love walking into this store and greeted with such friendliness. I am originally from Denver, Co and there you can find a couple of shops like this. My favorite shop in Denver is called Akente Express. When I went there I also felt a warmth and kinship from the staff. When I left Denver to move to the Tampa Bay, I was concerned I wasn't going to find someplace nearly as homey. I was incredibly misguided!
