Strange experience attempting to go for dinner there on Saturday night. When we arrived, noticed there were no cars out front of the restaurant but there was a lit "open" sign. Didn't see a sign on the door so we went in. There were no diners inside nor were there any restaurant staff. Waited a bit before leaving as the vibe was off. Will try again another time but have to say this was a first for a restaurant experience.
Took our daughter here for her first taste of Ethiopian. She loved it! The veggie platter was exceptional and service was outstanding.
Aside from some of the MOST delicious Ethiopian food I have ever eaten, including years perusing Adam's Morgan and rando spots in the DC area, the cost for 5 people to stuff themselves silly was unbeatable! The atmosphere is simple, not gaudy just inviting and clean. The coffee was superb! Do not forego the Ethiopian coffee if you can get it! This is the 6th or so time I've eaten there and it just gets better! Enjoy!
