Buying a condo from etco was the worst decision of my life. They have built multiple buildings in my area and are in many major lawsuits as we speak. I am writing this so people can be warned. Everything they touch is done cheaply and you will be left with never ending problems. Our entire building of 30 multi million dollar condos all have mold and the building as a whole has had major problems. Save yourself the headache and buy anything but their terrible work.

Be very careful about buying a home from this developer. Many of the homeowners in my development have many items to be fixed and Etco is either very slow or non-responsive. I have missing cabinet doors called out during escrow that are still missing (one year on) and a garage door that failed over four months ago (still not fixed.) Many other items that are just being ignored!

With the low housing inventory and interest rates rising, against my better judgment, I signed the contract and opened escrow with a $53,850 downpayment, which the contr... read more

Etco, you get a big fat FAIL!! You could’ve had a good resident. . -After my initial home inspection, when numerous problems were discovered, once I put $53,850 to open escrow, I had a general home inspection. Etco's disclosures were vague and not specific to the unit I was buying. The home inspector discovered mold caused by a leak in the planter above my unit, the HVAC didn't work and shower doors didn't close. Throughout the approximately 6 wk escrow, Etco told me that these problems would be taken care of. -A few days be... read more
