Married here on 11/19/20 The entire staff is so friendly,kind, and accommodating. You feel like family here with this estate. I enjoyed the reception we had at the tavern and Koby (sorry if I spelled that wrong) the bartender who was so sweet to check on us. I also fell in love with Agathas cottage. Our wedding was magical at the Estate on the Halifax. Cara and her team are top notch and I don’t believe anyone could top their professionalism. We were truly blown away by how incredible our day went.

This venue is amazing! It's such a hidden gem, you'd never know it was there just driving past it, but once to pull in it's unlike anything I've seen before. As a photographer, I love venues that have multiple places for photos, and Estate on the Halifax does not disappoint in that area. From the train car to the Chapel and all the greenery and cottages the possibilities are endless! The view of the water from the guesthouse and pathways is simply beautiful. I am totally appalled at the treatment we received by a woman with a small child who claims she owns this property. My sister lives next door on Riverside Dr. and we have enjoyed beautiful walks through this property on numerous occasions without any issues or concerns. My son and his fiancé came to visit from 3 hours south of here to look at a possible venue for their wedding. Cannot say enough about how wonderful this venue is. The owners are experienced and very professional. They were invaluable at helping make sure all the details were taken care of. There are many options for parties and weddings. The grounds and gardens provide the perfect backdrop for photos. I would love to plan or attend another event there.
