Great Authentic Italian Food! – Most definately a stop for a great and authentic homemade Italian meal. I just started going there recently and love the food! The stuffed banana peppers are a meal in itself!
Disappointed – Our first visit to Esta Esta was so good that we thought we'd try again. We were not so impressed the second time. Unlike our first visit, the staff last evening was sparse and not well informed. We ordered a glass of wine listed on the wine list then told that they didn't have it. Actually, the girl who took our order said she was the bartender but didn't know what wine was available. She did apologize for sounding so 'dumb' (her words). Best lasagna in the area – The lasagna at Esta Esta is the best I've had, even better than Mom's! It is loaded with home made tomato sauce and LOTS of cheese. They also serve stuffed banana peppers that are great. I'd also recommend the french onion soup. The service here is always very friendly and I have never had to wait long for a seat or for my meal to be served. Walking in to this place is like walking back in time, but what they lack in modernity they more than make up for with their menu items and great staff.
GREAT FOOD – THE ESTA ESTA HAS BEEN IN MONROEVILLE SINCE 1955 AND THE FOOD IS GREAT. YOU MUST STOP IN AND TRY ONE OF THE MANY FABULOUS MEALS ON THEIR MENU. THEY ARE CELEBRATING 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY ON FEBRUARY 14TH FOR THE DINING ROOM BEING REOPENED. PLEASE STOP IN AND HELP THEM CELEBRATE...
GIVE THE PLACE A TRY AGAIN – IT'S GREAT TO SEE THE RESTAURANT OPEN AGAIN. MICHAEL IS AN EXCELLENT CHEF. THE VEAL MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH AND I'D CHALLANGE ANYONE TO COMPARE THE STEAK WITH RUTH CHRIS. Edible Ecstacy – The creator has smiled on us all with the reopening of this great restaurant. If you are one of those who must always go to a restaurant you see on tv, you do yourself no favors by skipping Esta Esta. The food is magnificent and the service makes you feel like royalty. There is no better Lobster Bisque or Prime Rib in existence. Thank you Esta Esta. And I love all the paneling.
