I am very impressed with the care my son is receiving here. As long as you have the correct phone numbers you can always speak with someone. I always get return phone calls and the social worker, doctor and nurses don’t rush you off the phone. I am feeling grateful my son is safe here. We make appointments to go see him. The place is very clean and it’s a pretty new hospital. Thank you Essex County Hospital Center.

I asked for a black doctor for comfort, but instead they let a white doctor give me a needle against my will. This place has no black doctors. Imagine being black and the only representation are the patients. What kind of message is that sending? They also misdiagnose people.

I had a really positive turn in my daughter mental heath at this location I have nothing but great things to say about this hospital and the staff the Doctors are amazing. Thank for all you do every day.
