I took my mother to see Dr. Essepian. My mother was a new patient and was excited to meet Dr. Essepian. He came into the room and did not greet us or even say hello. Dr. Essepian clearly had an attitude from the very beginning of the appointment. He might be well educated, but I think Dr. Essepian is a narcissist and lacks people skills. I took my mother for a cataract visit. When he came to the room, he did not greet us or introduce himself and we thought he was one of the staff members. He may be a great doctor and a surgeon, by he totally lacks good manners and people skills which to me are very important to place patients on ease and give them confidence that he's the right doctor for them.

I had cataract surgery combined with LASIK adjustments to my eyes and insertion of IOC lenses. The surgery was done in an excellent facility manned by professionals who communicated about what was going to occur. My expectations were realistic. Dr. Essepian is an extremely capable and professional physician and I would recommend anyone to him for concern about eye health.

Dr. Essepian has been my ophthalmologist for years. He removed cataracts, fixed an astigmatism, and provides an annual exam that is thorough and efficient. He treats me with respect. Answers all my questions. I told him he is an excellent doctor and he truly is - extremely knowledgeable and a fantastic surgeon.

When you have a diseased corneas that could lead to blindness, you need a top notch eye surgeon. Dr. Essepian is that surgeon. I would have no hesitation having him operate on any member of my family or recommending him to friends. Judyth B.

I found Dr Essepian office staff very friendly. The clinic where the surgery was performed was an excellent and friendly environment. The nurses could not be nicer and tried their hardest to make me relaxed. With the first eye I was not really understanding what to expect. I could not relax, Dr Essepian was patient with me. The second eye was a breeze. I see reviews saying he doesn't have bedside manner. I was not looking for a bed partner I wanted someone to do their job and he did. Doctor Essepian is an awesome eye surgeon! Five years ago I had an unsuccessful eye surgery by another eye doctor who miscalculated a lens correction. I felt so devastated and at the time I could only see with my one good eye. My trust in doctors/surgeons was lost, but after getting a referral to Dr. Essipian to fix this mistake. I found Dr. Essepian to be very knowledgeable and attentive with his patients and his experience and confidence in performing a successful surgery is greatly appreciated.

Dr. Essepian is highly rated for the challenging eye surgeries that he is apparently very good at. But if you're just looking for a good basic eye exam, you can get better at Four Eyes. I had yearly eye exams at this office for four years - but never even met Dr. Essepian - until I complained loudly about my inability to see with my new glasses.
