Chocolate cakes are worth a trip. I found out about Essential Chocolate from a friend that would come from across town to buy their cakes for his parties. Everything they make seems to be from the hands of people who love chocolate.
essentially short on variety I made a special trip out of my normal radius of activity to visit this shop, and felt that it didn't live up to the positive reviews I have seen of it. I longed for more variety. While I had their brownies, and they were fabulous, I didn't need to drive the extra mile to experience the shop. I could see the draw for those with stroller aged children...this is a family friendly spot.
