I have been working with Rachel Schwartz at Avid for over a year, during which she has helped me immensely. Although Avid seems to specialize in sex therapy, my experience with Rachel is that she has been a wonderful psychotherapist for more ordinary issues, such as dealing with shame, low self-esteem, etc. She creates a warm, supportive and very safe space for talking, and I find her to be very bright, skilled and insightful. Working with her is like talking to an intimate friend.
