50% of the time I’ve taken my family here, their visit has been billed incorrectly. Wrong referral sent in by the hospital, then insurance denies it and hospital tries charging me. Things have been coded incorrectly, unbundled billing on referral codes not authorized by my insurance. They always try and charge me for their mistakes were they’ve had to eat bills because of them not fixing the issue within 6 months with help from my wife having to fight with them every time we have an issue. The surgeon was excellent! My concern is the lack of professionalism with one of the nurses which made both my husband and I uncomfortable. I am a RN with 25 years of experience and has accompanied my husband on numerous hospital stays. I have never seen such a handsy nurse like what I witnessed at this hospital. She kept touching my husband on his shoulder and his knee during her conversation with us while he was sitting up. Needs updating, the building is old, the main entrance by E.R is always filthy. The doors have spills on them and it's like that every time you go. The staff at reception spend more time on fb and snacking than working. Does not come across well at all. Not professional by no means. Never see floors get mopped. Very dirty hospital.
Very pleased and impressed with the care.
