Our anniversary dinner was absolutely phenomenal. We did the chef’s counter and pairing event, and every single one of the six courses was perfection. The wine pairings were spot-on, and truly, we have no notes. Not a single course missed. My Fiancé and I went to Essence for a pre-wedding date night - it was fantastic! We booked the Chef's Table as a special treat, and it was such a wonderful experience. The waitstaff was terrific -- kind, personable, and attentive. The owner, Brad, made sure to check in on us to see how we were enjoying our meal, and even provided us with a sweet celebratory note. The ambience, service, and food were phenomenal. I've never had dry-aged salmon before but it was next level as were the Japanese sweet potatoes (my compliments to chef Juan!). TC, our server was outstanding as well. Brad Canniff has created a truly exquisite dining experience.
